I wrote a short poem in Chinese as narration/voiceover in the background music. Here's the original poem and English translation:
我们循着人类
抑或是鸟的声音
走入这片迷雾
我们看不清彼此
便躲在雾里接受夜的凝视
我们不理解对方
就戴上面具
把破碎的语言交还给身体
Following the voice of humans
Or the birds
We walk into this mist
Can't see each other well
So we hide in the fog
Accepting the night's gaze
Can't understand one another
So we put on the mask
Returning the broken language to the body
I'm not so sure if I should put the text as subtitle in the film. The current version doesn't have it.
