Gooey Friend is a holographic projection mapping experiment. The magic of a floating projection is created by projecting on a large piece of tulle/mesh hanging from above. By setting up the perfect viewing, projecting and filming angle, the illusion of a glowing creature floating in the mid air can be easily created without using any sci-fi technology.
